Tips and tricks for the e-label software - Part 3: Simply combine small quantities of fat, protein and salt

Merging small quantities

Combine small quantities, fat, protein and salt

Very small quantities can be easily combined with us using a switch (see picture).

Please note that you must provide information. 0.1g is NOT a small amount of salt in wine, but 0.0125 g!

In wine, an amount of salt of less than 0.0125 g per 100 ml is considered negligible, according to the EU guidelines on nutritional labeling.

Further limits for nutrients in wine:

  • Fat: less than 0.5 g per 100 ml
  • Saturated fatty acids: less than 0.1 g per 100 ml
  • Protein: less than 0.5 g per 100 ml

As a foodstuff, wine is subject to mandatory labelling. Manufacturers must indicate nutritional values such as fat, protein, salt, carbohydrates and sugar. The information must be clearly visible and easy to read.
